What do you plan to do in the future, career-wise?

 

I hope to pursue a career combining graphic design and nutrition counseling.

 

What projects did you work on this summer?

 

• Compared the calorie content of recipes found in the first and last editions of Better Homes and Gardens Cookbook and Good Housekeeping Cookbook.

• Wrote a paper discussing the causes and acts of mindless exercise.

• Worked with Dr. Brian Wansink to complete illustrations utilized by the Slim by Design website.

 

Any advice for future interns?

 

This internship is best suited for those who want to go into an academic field. It requires a lot of self-motivation, as the second half of the summer is primarily self-directed.
